Mother - A Poem

Mother why do you revel when I cry
Would you rather I lay down and die
You tell me you love me
With the next breath you tell me you hate me

You blame me for all your problems
I did not ask you to birth me
You blame my father for all my sorrows
Yet you take every chance to hurt me

You say you do it because you love me
I say you do it becasue you are sick
You scoff at this
Then you tell me I'm crazy

I try to show you who I am
You verbaly smack me for it
You shout horrible things at me
I lay and cry in my bed
